The Sean Stanley Quintet & Miss Dior is a Swing inspired jazz-blues group from Toronto and includes some of the top young musicians in the city and I have included our new videos below! All of which are “live off the floor” 1 take so they give you an accurate representation of our performance. Featuring, Taylor Maslin -clarinet (TABB, Kayla Ramu, Alex Pangman) and Kyle Tarder-Stoll-tenor sax (TABB, Shuffle Demons) Galen Weir-bass (GTA Swing band, Octokats) Kenneth Wong-drums (TABB) Miss Dior-vocal (Moussou Folila “Women who play” West African drumming) and myself on piano/vocal as well as bandleader, writer, arranger, manager, producer, agent.
Past performances include Canada Day at Victoria Park, Niagara Falls (2016; mainstage & opening ceremony 500+ in attendance), TD Toronto Jazz Festival (2015), Toronto Blues Festival Talent Search (2015 top 6 finalists), The Senator Wine Bar, Jazz Bistro, Alchemy, The Emmet Ray, Bar Hop Sessions, Harlem Underground (residency since 2014), as well as hundreds other shows across the GTA.
