The 2008 Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival

The 2008 Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival continues, featuring 32 large-scale lanterns that will light up the park each evening throughout the rest of the season! The festival will include live entertainment, a traditional Chinese marketplace featuring arts and crafts, traditional cuisine and a karaoke stage. This is a separate ticket event. Toronto In-Water Boat Show
The 10th annual Toronto In-Water Boat Show is Ontario’s largest show of its kind. Attendees will get a first glance at new boat models for 2009, purchase current models at reduced prices, check out marine accessories, gifts, nautical clothing and footwear, write the Pleasure Craft Operator Card Test, enjoy a free boat ride at the Discover Boating Centre, and much more. |

Fall Fishing Festival
Dave Mercer's Facts of Fishing for Kids Day is designed to be a fun-filled introduction to Canada's great family past time - the sport of fishing. Participating children will be rewarded with a t-shirt, gift pack supplied by event sponsors and a keepsake photo. |

Portuguese Cultural Festival
Ontario Place hosts a fun-filled celebration of Portuguese Heritage. The Portuguese Cultural Festival will showcase famous Portuguese cheeses, sausages and wines, as well as an exhibition providing unique insight into Portuguese ceramic, quilting, woodworking, and more. Entertainers include Mickael Carreira & Patricia Cruz from Portugal, The Fevers from Brazil, and great local entertainment including Starlight Band.
