Cinesphere IMAX® Education
Series Double Feature (“Dinosaurs, Giants of Patagonia” + one
other film) and the ROM’s Dinosaurs
lesson.
For 130 million years dinosaurs dominated the Earth. In present day, students can witness these ancient reptiles at Ontario Place in the documentary film, Dinosaurs, Giants of Patagonia. Presented on the huge six storey Cinesphere screen with digital surround sound, the film takes the audience back to the Cretaceous period to meet creatures like the immense Argentinosaurus and the meat-eating Gigantosaurus. At the ROM, students will engage in a hands-on experience
with almost 400 specimens at the new dinosaur galleries. There they will meet Tyrannosaurus rex, touch real dinosaur bones, and learn about the remarkable flying reptiles and giant sea creatures of bygone eras (Grades 2 & up). |
