Chris McKhool is hailed as a “Children’s musical star” (National Post) and “Canada’s greatest eco-troubadour for young people.” (Mississauga Living Arts Centre). Chris has been delighting audiences with infectious songs and exotic world instruments for over ten years, reaching over 1 million children.
This Earth, Seas & Air concert is part musical performance, part environmentalism and 100% fun! This award-winning show is fully interactive, featuring songs from Chris’ appearances on Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treeshouse and the CBC. Chris gets kids singing, dancing and talking about taking care of the Earth. For over a decade, Chris has taken his audience beyond the 3 R’s of ecology (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to a new level of understanding of our global connection to forests, air, water and animals. Everyone leaves with the feeling that they can really make a difference!
Chris has also won three Parents’ Choice Awards in the U.S., a Canadian Folk Music Award for Children’s Album of the Year, a JUNO Award Nomination for his FiddleFire! CD, a Green Toronto Award of Excellence, and an Environment Canada Action Award for his commitment to environmental and social activism through music, creating the World’s Largest Bicycle Bell Ensemble at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto!
