Nezqwik is whatever the moment calls for. Inspired by an array of genres and artists, every note is thought out and means something to this group, all whilst maintaining a groove that any audience can vibe with. With a rotating and ever evolving lineup and setlist, no two shows are ever the same with this group. Currently in the process of writing a debut album, the band’s
philosophy is aptly described by the three short words of their slogan: Groove. Pocket. Colour.

The choice to remain instrumental as often as possible is intentional, as it forces us to express ourselves through the voice of our collective instruments. In addition, we blend elements of all the genres we are immersed in, which includes, jazz, gospel, hip-hop, funk, rock, and even traditional
Indian music! We feel very strongly about our work because it is an unwavering presentation of who we are as a band, what we stand for, and the music that inspires us. So in short, yes! Our work is very modern and new. For a festival that is looking to be as original as possible, we think
we are a perfect fit. In respect to our past work, something we are proud to advertise is that every show we play is completely different, due to the improvised nature of our music. Even if we have the exact same setlist in two shows, our arrangements and solos in each song are completely different for each performance. This invites people to come see us
