Cale Crowe
7:00 – 7:50 p.m.
Cale Crowe is an Indigenous singer-songwriter from Alderville First Nation in Ontario, Canada. His performance implements an acoustic guitar, an electronic drum pad, and a loop station pedal to accompany himself and play a beautiful combination of soul-baring lyrics and upbeat, anthemic music. Cale’s show has taken him from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and alongside acts like Ron Sexsmith, Donovan Woods, The Good Lovelies, Scott Helman, Digging Roots, and many more over the last ten years. In 2023, he is preparing to release his first ever full-length album-third in his discography, behind 2015’s “Stars & Promises EP” and 2017’s “Till You Let Me Go EP”.

Murray Porter with Joshua Miller & The Pappy Johns Band Reunion
8:10 – 9:00 p.m.
9:15 – 10:00 p.m.
Blues Man Murray Porter’s music career has taken him all over the world for the last 40 years. He’s a proud Mohawk man from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory in southern Ontario. Murray may have a blues soul to the core, but he also grew up on rock and roll, R & B and country music. In 2022 and 2023, he was nominated for “Blues With A Feeling” Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Maple Blues Awards, Canada’s national blues awards. Porter’s first CD since his 2012 JUNO Award for Aboriginal Album of the Year Is titled STAND UP! and reflects these early musical influences. He strongly feels that this album is some of his best music to date. Two songs, “Two Hearts & One Soul”, and “Love Will Find A Way”, words by Elaine Bomberry and music by Murray Porter, each hit Number One, on the Indigenous Music Countdown in 2020.
