Mixto Festival

July 13 & 14

Mixto Festival is an intergenerational party – bring your friends or leave with new ones!

Now in its sixth year, Mixto Festival brings together communities, cultures, and experiences for two days of live music and DJs from Brazil, Colombia, Toronto and many stops in between. Enjoy music and dancing alongside children’s programming, food and craft vendors, a licensed bar, art installations, and impeccable vibes. Mixto Festival will offer the block party vibes you love: niche and experimental, inclusive, underground but safe and friendly, always celebrating joy.

Summer Live Music Festival

July 27 & 28

Featuring live jazz, world music, pop and a cappella groups curated by T.U. Jazz Fest and SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival. Audiences will experience performances by emerging bands and a cappella groups, showcasing a range of original music from jazz to a cappella to pop. Visitors are invited to check out Summer Live Music Festival and enjoy a weekend of great live music.

Wavelength Summer Thing

August 10

Wavelength Summer Thing returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place for a stacked day of independent music, arts and community. Gather at Trillium Park for a diverse, inclusive and uplifting lineup of musical artists encompassing indie, hip-hop, electronic, folk, and global music in this celebration of togetherness. Interactive art installations, games, food and beverage, and fire pit hangs will transform the park into a creative wonderland for one special afternoon and evening. Wavelength Summer Thing is free and open to all ages.

City Hall Live

August 11 

City Hall Live returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place this year as a free, family-friendly event with a night of dancing under the stars. The event will feature a Brazilian samba band, a full salsa band, free dance lessons, food and beverage for purchase and artisan vendors. City Hall Live is a year-round music series in various locations featuring local musicians and organizations. The series creates opportunities for local bands and helps provide live music across Toronto for residents and visitors.

The Academy presents

August 17 & 18

The Academy presents unites music and culture in a memorable experience. Saturday will feature its second edition of THE TEAM UP, a performance competition between three teams, each curated by a Toronto based event presenter. Teams of three Toronto based artists combine their talents to perform an original collaborative set. Guest judges and a crowd vote will decide which winning team will take home the big prize. AIRMOVES silent disco will follow the competition with a party under the Trillium Park pavilion. Sunday afternoon (into the early evening) day party will unite local promoters for a park takeover with good vibes, great snacks, and amazing people.

It’s OK* World

August 24 & 25

Join us for It’s Ok* World’s second annual outdoor free festival, showcasing the vibrant and diverse talent within Toronto’s Black arts community. Set against the backdrop of a warm summer, this two-day festival celebrates art, culture, and community. It’s a space for Black artists to shine, heal, and share their stories.

Indigenous Sounds Now

August 31 & September 1

The music of Indigenous People is resonating world-wide, as people’s ears open to the many unique voices being shared. These voices, these Indigenous Sounds, are now resonating through songs of celebration, joy, sorrow, separation, reclamation, reconciliation, and more. Indigenous music has grown tremendously over the years and is heard across many genres. Be it country, blues, DJ’s, hip hop, rock, folk, or alternative music, Indigenous musicians are creating a musical mosaic like never before.  

Music is medicine for the soul and there’s no better way to wrap up your summer than by enjoying an evening gathering of Indigenous music. Whether it’s heart-felt, toe-tapping or edgy, you will hear a wonderful spectrum of music. The power of Indigenous Sounds Now will once again resonate at SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place for two free, all ages concerts. Trillium Park is an ideal place to listen to music, and maybe even dance on Mother Earth.

Yoga in Trillium Park

Yoga in Trillium Park at Ontario Place is back with free yoga classes select Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. until September 29. Each class is taught by an instructor for approximately 60 minutes and offers a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga. Classes focus on mindfulness, strengthening the core, and cultivating connection between the breath and body. The classes are for students of all levels, and attendees should bring their own mat and water and sun protection. No registration required. Classes are rain or shine.
