Brock Stonefish has released his debut album after 20 years of touring the United States, Canada, and South Korea. The album titled Turtle Island was produced by famed Actor/Musician Gary Farmer who also joined the album playing harmonica and backup vocals. In the summer of 2022 Brock Stonefish took the stage at a LANDBACK concert with Serena Ryder on drums and Tom Wilson on Vocals. Along With Derek Miller, Brock Stonefish will be a feature on the Gary Farmer Troublemaker All Star Tour this summer of 2023.

Gary Farmer, an acclaimed actor and musician from Six Nations of the Grand River, Ontario, leads an All-Star Band of Troublemakers. Derek Miller, a two-time Juno-winning journeyman musician hailing from Six Nations of the Grand River, infuses his guitar-oriented roots rock with a soul-stirring blues sensibility. Brock Stonefish, an Indian Day School survivor from Delaware Nation at Moraviantown, blends his rich heritage of Lenape, Chippewa, and Oneida bloodlines into his evocative songs. Howe Gelb, a revered singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has earned titles like “Godfather of alt-country” and “Elder ambassador of desert rock” with his prolific career spanning over four decades. Charly Lowry, a powerful vocalist and talented songwriter, represents her Lumbee/Tuscarora ancestry through her soulful music. Together, these remarkable artists create a dynamic musical experience with passion.

Cale Crowe is an Indigenous singer-songwriter from Alderville First Nation in Ontario, Canada. His performance implements an acoustic guitar, an electronic drum pad, and a loop station pedal to accompany himself and play a beautiful combination of soul-baring lyrics and upbeat, anthemic music. Cale’s show has taken him from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and alongside acts like Ron Sexsmith, Donovan Woods, The Good Lovelies, Scott Helman, Digging Roots, and many more over the last ten years. In 2023, he is preparing to release his first ever full-length album-third in his discography, behind 2015’s “Stars & Promises EP” and 2017’s “Till You Let Me Go EP”.

Blues Man Murray Porter’s music career has taken him all over the world for the last 40 years. He’s a proud Mohawk man from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory in southern Ontario. Murray may have a blues soul to the core, but he also grew up on rock and roll, R & B and country music. In 2022 and 2023, he was nominated for “Blues With A Feeling” Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Maple Blues Awards, Canada’s national blues awards. Porter’s first CD since his 2012 JUNO Award for Aboriginal Album of the Year Is titled STAND UP! and reflects these early musical influences. He strongly feels that this album is some of his best music to date. Two songs, “Two Hearts & One Soul”, and “Love Will Find A Way”, words by Elaine Bomberry and music by Murray Porter, each hit Number One, on the Indigenous Music Countdown in 2020.

Toronto based post punk/reggae band Cliff Cardinal & The Sky-Larks, honed by their hilarious and nefarious style, produce protest songs, love ballads and existential raps through an Indigenous lens.Substance abuse, self-loathing and plenty of catchy hooks are rife within their music including their newly released album “Suicidal Valentine”.In the title track “Suicidal Valentine” Cliff pours out his heart over guitar and drum beat that offer a fuzzy sound matching the chaos of his mind at that stage of his life. The polarizing, Indigenous writer and performer known for his black humour and compassionate poeticism is joined by multi-instrumentalist producer/songwriter Justin McWilliams on bass and scene-heavyweight Patrick Ferrigan on drums.
