SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place has been off to a great start! A big thank you to Mixto Festival and Summer Live Music Festival for two great weekends of entertainment. Get ready to enjoy more weekends of live music, arts and culture events until September 1. These events have been carefully curated by our program partners to deliver a summer season filled with FREE entertainment for all ages!

Wavelength Summer Thing – Saturday, August 10

Wavelength Summer Thing returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place for a stacked day of independent music, arts, and community. Gather at Trillium Park for a diverse, inclusive, and uplifting lineup of musical artists, including Daniel Romano’s Outfit, Nyssa, Lavender Town, Sasha Cay, SlowPitchSound featuring Libydo and DJ More or Les. A mobile sauna by Public Sweat, art installations by Stephanie Avery + Kizmet, decor by Roxanne Ignatius, live painting by Julia YH, food vendors, indie market vendors, campfire hangs, and chill vibes will transform the park into a creative wonderland for one special evening.

City Hall Live – Sunday, August 11

City Hall Live returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place this year as a free, family-friendly event with a night of dancing under the stars. The event will feature performances by La Borinqueña, Terreiro de Samba and DJ Juana Go Go, free dance lessons, food, and beverage for purchase. City Hall Live is a year-round music series in various locations featuring local musicians and organizations. The series creates paid opportunities for local bands and helps provide live music across Toronto for residents and visitors.

The Academy presents – Saturday, August 17 & Sunday, August 18

The Academy presents unites music and culture for a memorable weekend. On August 17, check out “THE TEAM UP”, a collaborative artist battle between teams of Toronto based artists to perform an original collaborative set. Guest judges and a crowd vote will decide which winning team will take home the big prize. The night ends with “AIRMOVES GLOBAL (silent) DISCO”, under the Trillium Park pavilion, with Latin, Caribbean and African sounds by Sonic Sancocho (Juana Go-Go and Olasconola), DJ Shai and Sound Curator. On August 18, “ME & YOU: R&B IN THE PARK” will bring soulful sounds with performances by DJ Mensa, Babyvaye, Tdesu and Manalang, with good vibes, great snacks, and amazing people.
