SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Indigenous Sounds Now on July 27, 2025, with a live performance by Lacey Hill from 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.

This Oneida Wolf Clan, Six Nations born and bred independent singer/songwriter describes her music as “Indigenous Soul” grown from a passion for making music since she was a little girl. There is no denying the amount of heart Lacey Hill bleeds into all three of her albums. 2024 was a big year, Lacey completed Indigenous Storytellers Residency at Banff Creative Centre, she started writing her first Children’s Musical called ‘You Are Not Alone’ (Y.A.N.A) and wrote a book to go with it ‘Y.A.N.A’ will also be showcasing in Native Earth Performing Arts Weesageechak Begins to Dance 37 Theatre Festival.

FestivalEstival au parc Trillium à la Place de l'Ontario accueille Indigenous Sounds Now le 27 juillet 2025, avec une performance en direct de Lacey Hill de 18 h 30 à 19 h 15 !

Cette Oneida Wolf Clan, une chanteuse-compositrice indépendante née et issue d’une famille des Six Nations, décrit sa musique comme étant « l’âme autochtone », issue de sa passion pour la musique depuis qu’elle est toute petite. On ne peut nier la ferveur que Lacey Hill a mise dans ses trois albums. L’année 2024 a été importante pour elle, où elle a terminé la Indigenous Storytellers Residency au Banff Creative Centre. Elle a commencé à écrire sa première comédie musicale pour enfants intitulée « You Are Not Alone » (Y.A.N.A) et elle a écrit un livre pour l’accompagner, « Y.A.N.A », qui sera également présenté dans le cadre du Weesageechak Begins to Dance 37 Theatre Festival de Native Earth Performing Arts.

Swing Shift Band ft. Metro Big Band: recognized as one of the top big bands in the country.
Shuffle Demons: high-energy Canadian band that blend jazz, funk, rap, hip-hop and world music with eye-catching costumes and over the top stage antics.
WIBI A Cappella: the longest-running collegiate a cappella group in Canada, exploring a broad range of musical styles with a focus on pop music.
SoundCrowd: original performances using the musical language of a cappella.
On That Note: a premiere competitive women and queer-centered a cappella group that boasts a unique sound and a repertoire of diverse songs.
DJ Undercover: one of the fastest rising DJs in the history of the legendary Toronto club scene.

Swing Shift Band & Metro Big Band: reconnu comme l'un des meilleurs big bands du pays.
The Shuffle Demons: un groupe canadien très dynamique qui mélange le jazz, le funk, le rap, le hip-hop et la musique du monde avec des costumes accrocheurs et des pitreries sur scène.
WIBI A Cappella (ˈwiːˈbiː) : le groupe a cappella collégial le plus ancien du Canada, a couvert un large éventail de styles musicaux, en mettant l’accent sur la musique pop.
Soundcrowd : performances originales utilisant le langage musical de l’a cappella.
On That Note : un groupe a cappella compétitif de femmes et de personnes queer de l’Université métropolitaine de Toronto, qui possède un son unique et un répertoire de chansons variées.
DJ Undercover: L’un des DJs ayant connu l’ascension la plus rapide dans l’histoire de la légendaire scène des clubs de Toronto.

SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Indigenous Sounds Now on July 27, 2025, with a live performance by Murray Porter from 7:35 – 8:20 p.m.!

Blues Man Murray Porter’s music career has taken him all over the world for the last 40 years. He’s a proud Mohawk man from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory in southern Ontario. Murray may have a blues soul to the core, but he also grew up on rock and roll, R & B, and country music. Porter’s CD ‘Songs Lived & Life Played’ won him the 2012 JUNO Award for “Aboriginal Album of the Year”. In 2023, he won the “Icon Award” at the Weengushk International Indigenous Film Festival, on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. In 2021, 2022 & 2023, he was nominated for “Blues with a Feeling Award” for Lifetime Achievement from the Maple Blues Awards, Canada’s national blues awards.

La carrière musicale de Blues Man, Murray Porter, l’a fait voyager partout dans le monde au cours des 40 dernières années. C’est un fier Mohawk du territoire des Six Nations de la rivière Grand, dans le sud de l’Ontario. M. Porter a peut-être une âme de blues, mais il a aussi grandi dans le rock and roll, le R & B et la musique country. Le CD de M. Porter « Songs Lived & Life Played » lui a valu le prix JUNO 2012 pour « l’album autochtone de l’année ». En 2023, il a remporté le « Icon Award » au Weengushk International Indigenous Film Festival, sur l’île Manitoulin, en Ontario. En 2021, 2022 et 2023, il a été mis en nomination pour le prix « Blues with a Feeling » pour l’ensemble de ses réalisations aux prix Maple Blues, les prix nationaux du blues au Canada.

Get your sweat on this summer at Yoga in Trillium

Get your sweat on this summer at Yoga in Trillium Park at Ontario Place! New this year, the program will feature special monthly enhanced classes incorporating elements such as Kundalini Yoga, Yoga Dance Parties with Dance Alchemy, AWAKEN with JUNGLETO (a yoga and fitness fusion), Pilates, sound baths, live music, and guided meditation—offering fresh and creative ways to move, breathe, and restore.

Free classes are open to participants of all levels and take place rain or shine on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 11 a.m. No registration is required - just bring a mat, water bottle and sun protection (sunscreen and a hat recommended).

SummerSeries in Trillium Park at Ontario Place welcomes Indigenous Sounds Now on July 27, 2025, with a live performance by Adrian Sutherland from 8:45 – 9:45 p.m.!

One listen to Adrian Sutherland and you’ll know he’s unlike anyone else. The roots-rocker-with-heart from Attawapiskat on James Bay melds rock, roots, folk, and blues, drawing inspiration from his life, the land, and his language and culture. Adrian’s sophomore solo album ‘Precious Diamonds’ was recorded in Nashville with former GRAMMY winner Colin Linden and released in 2024. It won “Best Americana Album” from the 2025 World Entertainment Awards in Los Angeles, was nominated at the 2025 JUNO Awards, and selected as one of the “Top 100 Albums of 2024” by CKUA Radio. It features two songs in Cree, making the first time Adrian is making music in his first language.

Si vous écoutez Adrian Sutherland, vous saurez qu’il est unique. Le « roots-rocker-with-heart » d’Attawapiskat, dans la baie James, mêle rock, roots, folk et blues, s’inspirant de sa vie, de sa terre, de sa langue et de sa culture. Le deuxième album solo d’Adrian « Precious Diamonds » a été enregistré à Nashville avec l’ancien gagnant du GRAMMY, Colin Linden, et lancé en 2024.
