It’s OK* World on August 8
It’s OK*’s fourth annual outdoor festival will showcase the vibrant and diverse talent within Toronto’s Black arts community. This festival brings together artists and audiences to celebrate art, culture, and community. It’s a space for Black artists to shine, heal, and share their stories.
This year’s performers include Gena, Liv.e + Karriem Riggins, Keyiaa, Clairmont the Second, Kwncy, DVYN, and DJ Shylosofly.
The Academy presents: Soulquarians in the Park Sunday August 9
The Academy presents a day long tribute to The Soulquarians, one of hip hop and R&B’s most legendary music collectives. Toronto soul jazz band re.verse will kick off an afternoon of Soulquarian favourites featuring singers and emcees from across the GTA, hosted by Doomgurl, including renditions of songs by Erykah Badu, The Roots, D’Angelo, Common, J Dilla, Q-Tip, Talib Kweli, Yasiin Bey, and Bilal.
The day will wrap with a party featuring DJ Mensa and savvv featuring Soulquarians classics and adjacent chunes!
This year’s performers include re.verse with guest performers: Ray Robinson, Faiza, Kubla, Maya Killtron, DijahSB, J.O. Mairs, Elle de Lyon, Siddartha, Manniffer, DJ Mensa and savvvv.
Open Canvas Music and Arts Festival Saturday August 15
Open Canvas returns to SummerSeries in Trillium Park for its waterfront festival featuring live music, art installations, local food vendors, and community programming. This event is part of the launch of the Open Canvas City Tour, a multi-day celebration of music, art, food, and connection across some of Toronto’s most inspiring cultural spaces.
This year’s festival invites attendees to move through the city together, discovering new sounds, new food, and new friends along the way. Open Canvas is a not-for-profit festival built to create more reasons for people to gather, discover, and connect through culture.
Featured performers include Ladji Mouflet, Clover County, The Wild Child, Leiia, Heyssis, June Jissle, Nicholas Nothing, So Perfect, Thais, Store Credit, and Lo$.
Wavelength Summer ThingSunday August 16
Wavelength Summer Thing returns to Trillium Park with two stages showcasing local artists in genres ranging from indie-folk to alternative hip-hop to Afro-Brazilian percussion. In addition to this all-Canadian line-up of performers, the free event will feature a variety of food and drink vendors. Shop hand-made wares and participate in interactive art installations for all ages. Celebrate summer how it’s meant to be: together with some tunes by a toasty campfire and the lake!
Featured performers include Shad, Absolute Treat, CJ Wiley, Tauro, Janette King, Bells Larsen, Sister Ray, Diar, Eliza Niemi and Maracatu Mar Aberto.

Join us for Yoga in Trillium Park, Saturdays and Sundays at 10am. Classes are open to all levels and are rain or shine. No registration is required! Just bring your yoga mat, water bottle, and sunscreen/hat for sun protection.
