The Thomas Steele 10Tet is a ten piece jazz ensemble based in Toronto, Ontario. The group draws together ten of the most engaging and lyrical young musicians in the city, all of whom who are students or recent alumni of the University of Toronto jazz program. The unique instrumentation of the Thomas Steele 10Tet puts a modern twist on a classic large ensemble. The group has performed across Toronto, and were recently featured in the 2020 TD Niagara Jazz Festival and 2020 Toronto TU Jazz Festival. Their debut album “10Tet” is set for release on 20 February 2021. The 10Tet features Thomas Steele, David Hodgson, Jacob Chung, Alex Manoukas, Kaelin Murphy, Christian Antonacci, Nick Adema, Andrew Gormley, Evan Gratham and Jacob Slous.
