The Academy presents a day long tribute to one of hip hop and R&B’s most legendary music collectives, The Soulquarians. Toronto soul-jazz band re.verse will lay the ground for an afternoon of your Soulquarian favourites with a roster of singers and emcees from across the GTA (to be announced). Including renditions of songs by Erykah Badu, The Roots, D’Angelo, Common, J Dilla, Q-Tip, Talib Kweli, Yasiin Bey, and Bilal. The day will wrap with a party featuring DJ Mensa and savvv featuring Soulquarians classics and adjacent chunes!
