Yoga in Trillium Park at Ontario Place is back with free yoga classes starting on June 1 to September 29 on select Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each class is taught by an instructor for approximately 60 minutes and offers a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga. Classes focus on mindfulness, strengthening the core, and cultivating connection between the breath and body. The classes are for students of all levels, and attendees should bring their own mat and water and sun protection.  No registration required. Classes are rain or shine. 

Dianne Bondy 

Dianne Bondy is an author and accessible yoga teacher.   Her approach to yoga empowers anyone to practice—regardless of their shape, size, ethnicity, or level of ability. Dianne is revolutionizing yoga by educating yoga instructors around the world on how to make their classes welcoming for all kinds of practitioners.  Dianne’s commitment to increasing diversity in yoga has been recognized in her work with Pennington’s, Gaiam, and the Yoga & Body Image Coalition, as well as in speaking engagements at Princeton, Duke, University of Buffalo and UC Berkeley on Yoga, Race, and Diversity. Her writing is published in Yoga and Body Image Volume 1, Yoga Renegades, and Yes Yoga Has Curves.   In 2016, she obtained her certification in Bali, Indonesia, and has since taught Pilates worldwide. After five years in Tulum, Mexico, she is thrilled to bring her expertise back to her homeland.  She is passionate about teaching and helping people feel their best in their bodies. Her Pilates classes concentrate on increasing your overall strength, with an emphasis on core; bringing your body into full alignment.
