Hosted by Donna Lee Sound, CTV reporter and special segment host of “Indigenous Circle.” Elder Jimmy Dick will deliver the Opening Honour song and Land Acknowledgement, followed by a performance by the Manitou Mkwa Singers from the Credit reserve and Hoop Dancer, River Christie-White.

Get ready for an incredible live performance! The Afropan Steelband, also known as “the People’s Band,” is Toronto’s oldest and most successful steelband. Founded in 1973, Afropan strives to promote steelpan to people of all ages and ethnicities throughout the community.
