I.O.U Trio is a modern jazz trio based out of Toronto, Ontario Canada. The trio has been together for over 3 years and has continued to grow since their formation back in 2017 while studying at Humber College.
Their debut EP 3 States was released back in late October of 2019 which helped the trio gain more followers as well as playing opportunities throughout the city. Though their main influence is rooted in jazz, the group takes on inspiration from many other genres such as funk, rock, world jazz, prog and etc.
